NESTLE / XPO LOGISTICS, PLOT 2, EAST MIDLANDS GATEWAY

The construction of a 638,000 sq. ft warehouse distribution centre including a 35m high bay temperature-controlled facility (16m to the remainder of the warehouse) together with three storey office accommodation, external site works, hardstanding and car parking, landscaping, and Drainage, on an area of land adjacent to East Midlands Airport.

KUEHNE & NAGEL, PLOT 4, EAST MIDLANDS GATEWAY

The construction of a 163,000 sq. ft single-storey warehouse/production unit with a 40,000 sq. ft temperature-controlled area for pharmaceutical products, 33,000 sq. ft office, and amenity areas, and 410,000 sq. ft yard space. On a site adjacent to East Midlands Airport, the modern industrial building also contains 64 dock levellers, 7-level access doors, parking for 270 cars and 175 lorries, and electric vehicle charging points.

UNIT 1, ICON, MANCHESTER
The construction of a new logistics and content creation facilities totalling 168,000 sq. ft and additional 104,000 sq. ft of office space over four floors for The Hut Group at Manchester Airport. External features include a five storey multi storey car park, a secured concrete service yard at the rear and an open tarmac/paved car parking and landscaped area at the entrance.

FULFILMENT CENTRE, GATESHEAD
The construction of a new distribution and storage facility. The development will include an approx. 500,000 sq. ft warehouse with three internal mezzanine floors together with principal office accommodation. Works also include office block, external guard houses, car park, external works including hard and soft landscaping.

PLOT 1, EAST MIDLANDS DISTRIBUTION PARK
The construction of a speculative 492,000 sq. ft single storey warehouse/production unit with an 18-metre haunch height, 20,500 sq. ft two storey offices accommodation, 9,000 sq. ft warehouse pod offices and a gatehouse for client Panattoni.

UNIT 5, TAMWORTH EAST
The construction of a 300,000 sq. ft structural steel portal frame industrial unit with 18,500 sq. ft office accommodation for client St Modwen Developments. Also completed, were site earthworks including main site access road infrastructure, drainage including foul pumping station and rising main. External works include service yard, car parking and access aisles, footpaths, external lighting, drainage, and main incoming services.

AMAZON, PLOT 1, EAST MIDLANDS GATEWAY

Full turnkey solution for the client on the first unit to be built at East Midlands Gateway: a 1.3 million sq. ft fulfilment centre including two storey mezzanine, 57,000 sq. ft office space and amenity areas, 480,000 sq. ft of external yard area and parking for 900 cars and 83 lorries, on an area of land adjacent to East Midlands Airport.

SHOP DIRECT, PLOT 3, EAST MIDLANDS GATEWAY
Construction of a 550,000 sq. ft warehouse distribution centre with 18m haunch height with alternate valley columns omitted and bespoke mezzanine flooring supporting conveyor systems, together with 43,000 sq. ft office accommodation, external site works, hardstanding’s, car parking, landscaping, and drainage, on an area of land adjacent to East Midlands Airport.

Working on various RC Frame Projects and Network Rail contracts.

Keeping up to date with current HSE&Q legislation and industry best practice and disseminating this information to all levels of staff throughout the company.
