The identification and measurement of health hazards in the workplace, the assessment of health risk and the provision of appropriate advice on the elimination, reduction and control of those risks. As a Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene I have over 30 years' experience of Occupational Hygiene Consultancy in all types of industrial environments in the UK and offshore. I have run my own consultancy since 1991, aimed principally at providing a cost-effective service for SME's in the manufacturing sector. As an Oxford chemistry graduate I have always had a special interest in chemical hazards, and am experienced in many aspects of environmental analysis. I am currently very active in the assessment of employee exposure to noise and dust and the testing of LEV systems. Although most clients are in the Greater Manchester area, my work is UK-wide.
