Based in Bristol and the South West, I am the Managing Director of Safety Synergy Ltd delivering health and safety consultancy services to businesses. Our company aim is to deliver pragmatic, cost effective and workable health and safety solutions. Audits
I am a BSI qualified and experienced lead auditor for occupational safety and health.
I deliver a range of audit and assurance activities ranging from full gap analysis of legislative health and safety compliance through to bespoke assurance of specific tasks, activities or projects.

Inspections
I deliver a full range of physical workplace and site inspections.
Inspections can be for all or part of a workplace, and reported to clients in a user-friendly format which reports compliance and good practice, prioritises recommendations and proposes pragmatic solutions where required.
Investigations
I provide a responsive accident/incident investigation service, gathering facts about the incident, looking at immediate and underlying causes, and identifying where improvements can be made to reduce the likelihood of similar accidents/incidents happening again.
The investigations service includes inspection of the site of the incident, recording evidence, taking witness statements and interviewing injured persons. On completion of the investigation, clients will be presented with a professional accident investigation report identifying immediate and underlying causes of the inclident as well as prioritised recommendations for further action.
Bespoke Training
I am a qualified trainer and can develop bespoke training for businesses.
Bespoke training will be in a style agreed with the client, this may include e-learning, classroom courses, toolbox talks, or one-to-one sessions. Examples of training delivered are: H&S for managers/supervisors, H&S for office managers, caretakers/site maintenance H&S, DSE assessor, work at height awareness, manual handling awareness, fire safety awareness, induction and risk assessment.
COSHH
I deliver COSHH assessments for businesses, and can create COSHH registers for specific sites. I use a combination of observation, worker involvement, and robust risk assessments to create a robust COSHH management system customised for each business.
Outputs include COSHH Registers, COSHH risk assessments and recommendations for health surveillance where required.
Display Screen Equipment (DSE)
I am an experienced DSE Assessor and deliver DSE assessments for office-based workers, mobile workers and home-workers.
DSE assessment services include producing DSE assessments, looking at interaction with other ergonomic factors, a user-friendly report with prioritised recommendations is produced.
E-learning
I can develop health and safety e-learning packages to a client brief and on the delivery platform used by the organisation.
