Key Responsibilities:

I work in a team of four safety advisers with admin support who provide H&S advice and training to over 140 member companies. A large part of my role is to provide a variety of both formal (CITB/IOSH) and informal in-house training.

• Report Health and Safety performance to Senior Management of Member Companies
• Ensure organisational compliance with legislative requirements and industry best practice
• Development of policies and procedures
• Maintain records and compile statistics
• Risk assessment co-ordination and development
• General advice to Management and Employees
• Liaison with Statutory Authorities
• Site / Workshop compliance inspections and audits
• Accident and near-miss investigation
• CDM advice / fulfil CDM Co-ordinator role
• Completion of pre-qualification questionnaires and tender documents
• Co-ordinate external training providers
• Provide training to company management and employees
• Provide toolbox talks
