.I work as a small flexible practice trading as Bassett Simple Safety which has a varied group of clients. I specialise in small to medium sized businesses and charities. I provide a cost-effective service to help businesses with practical and sensible safety solutions. I welcome smaller, one-off or shorter projects and work with a selection of other professionals according to need.  I am able to; • Support clients in producing risk assessments • Advise clients on policies and procedures • Carry out audits • Investigate accidents • Act as expert witness in legal action and complaints • Represent clients with enforcement agencies • Act as competent person for Health and Safety. I believe that H&S has become overcomplicated and I aim to avoid complex risk assessments that will lie unused but look for realistic systems people will follow and believe that good health is good business. I am a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner and am able to offer a wealth of health and safety experience and knowledge with integrated work on food safety, infection control and housing/hostels  as needed.
