I am a qualified and accredited Chartered Insurance and Risk Manager  & Safety & Health Practitioner ( ACII CIRM, FIIRSM, DipNEBOSH, GradIOSH) and work as a Health and Safety Consultant presently employed by Arthur J Gallagher UK. AJG provides clear, up to date, legally compliant and cost effective advice to a variety of clients over a wide spectrum of industries and services. My role as a Consultant involves carrying out reviews of Health and Safety arrangements for a diverse range of Clients. Once reviews are completed, it is then my role as a Consultant to prepare and install bespoke Health and Safety Management Systems (HSMS) for Clients. Additionally in my role I provide on-line and telephone support for all aspects of Health and Safety matters as required by Clients and also carry out follow up visits to assist with further reviews and continual improvements to Clients Health and Safety Management Systems. I also Act as Competent Person and assist with updating and the writing of Health and Safety Policies and procedures, assisting with Fire, DSE, COSHH, young persons, pregnancy, manual handling and general risk assessments. Assist clients with obtaining CHAS, Safe Contractor, Construction line etc. accreditations. I am also an accredited trainer and deliver "IOSH Managing Safely" courses along with other bespoke training such as Manual Handling, Accident Investigation, Risk Awareness, Fire Safety, Safety Legislation and Risk Assessment training, plus other courses prepared bespoke to Client's requirements.
