Key areas of business development include: manufacturing, metal pressings/castings, furniture manufacture, printing and finishing, housing Associations, Construction, garage forecourts/workshops, vehicle body shops, heavy fabrication engineering, CNC and mechanical engineering, circuit board manufacturer, plastic extrusion.

Preparation and implementation of Health & Safety systems, onsite inspections, Health and Safety audits and surveys, advice on risk and COSHH assessments and training.

Provided health and safety expertise for clients of all sizes across a range of sectors including professional services, care, dentists, funeral directors, hotel and leisure, retail, service industries, schools and veterinary practices etc.

Assist clients achieve compliance with Health and Safety legislation, Risk assessments, Construction (Design & Management) Regulations, Accident investigation and reporting, liaising with the enforcing authorities, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety training, Fire, Manual handling, RIDDOR LOLER, PUWER.

Responsibility for overseeing and implementing corporate health and safety strategies in an industrial multi site print works in the south of England. Primary roles include:-

• Support and influence management in the maintaining and developing of site health and safety
• Training of management in health and safety aspects of their work
• Auditing of systems both policy and procedure to ensure continued compliance with health and safety law and developing a safety culture throughout the business.
• Development of health and safety policies, procedures, work instructions and risk assessments.
• Integral part of a team in developing an eighteen month health and safety strategy for the Group comprising eight sites.

Responsible for corporate governance of health and safety for all staff and facilities management of head office:-

• Governance management in developing OHSAS 18000 2 year project with Board
• Risk assessment, audits and inspections of various housing association buildings, from youth, special needs and elderly people.
• Disability discrimination act audits of housing projects including new build and renovation.

• Facilities management within budgetary constraints of the main office building housing 145 personnel.

• Five direct reports running building maintenance, project management and cleaning.
• Special projects on 12 year maintenance plans for the buildings, lone workers and CDM implementation.
• Corporate risk management evaluation, with particular emphasis on disaster recovery
