I am a chartered Health & Safety Professional, Registered CDM Consultant and Certified Machinery Safety Expert, a PRINCE2 Project Management Practitioner and ISO45001 Lead Auditor. I have worked as a safety consultant and Project CDM Manager for 23 years. I have experience of construction, refurbishment, demolition, asbestos removal, manufacturing, food factories, breweries, Waste to Energy projects, landfill projects and Heritage Conservation & Restoration work in that time. I am happy to assist with SSIP questionnaires (SafeContractor, CHAS, SMAS, etc.,) and have much experience helping to achieve these accreditations. I am also a qualified and experienced asbestos surveyor, Certified Machinery Safety Expert (TUV Nord) and an associate NVQ assessor for the British Safety Council. I provide a retained competent person consultancy services for numerous companies within a wide range of business sectors. I am a qualified Temporary Works Coordinator.

Masima Ltd, my consultancy, has experience of undertaking the Principal Designer and Principal Contractor role for CDM projects up to the value of around £50m. We can provide a competent and professional on site project safety management for construction, process and manufacturing/packaging projects.

My background is within Mechanical Engineering, having began my career at British Aerospace plc, moving from there into brewing and then onto CDM construction projects and Safety Consultancy. I have been running my own safety consultancy since 2002 (Masima Ltd). In that time my client list includes AB-InBev/Budwieser Brewing, Unilever, Muller, G&J Distillers, CNIM, ISG, Rydon, Coca-Cola, Heinz, Wall's Ice Cream, Heineken, GPI, KHS, Fichtner Consulting, Mono Masonry, Birchwood Council and Legendre.
