As an Inspector with HSE I worked across a wide range of industries including 9 years in construction, including operational policy. 10 years in manufacturing including motor vehicle repair, engineering and woodworking. I spent 4 years in public services such as healthcare providers and local authorities.

I was a member of the HSE team that was involved in the broadcasting aspects of London 2012 and was the lead inspector for the Olympic Flame. I was a member of the National Fairgrounds Inspection Team and lead team inspections of Winter Wonderland (Hyde Park) during planning and build phases.

At various times I was an Asbestos Licensing Inspector, a Site Radiography Co-ordinating Inspector and was National Lead Inspector for a national construction company, a national waste company and a national private healthcare provider. I also held roles as the lead inspector for a regional construction company and for a Fire and Rescue Service.

As a nurse I worked in several acute settings. I worked in Accident and Emergency and in Trauma Intensive Care. I delivered pre-hospital care as a construction site medic and was a volunteer for Festival Medical Services providing emergency care at both the Reading and Glastonbury festivals

I am currently providing training in inspection, investigations, legal procedures, health and safety and Mental Health First Aid training. I also provide consultancy services.
