• A Chartered Safety Practitioner on the Occupational Safety and Health Consultant Register (OSHCR)
• Provide Health and Safety, and Environmental advice to companies that don’t have access to a full time health and safety advisor.
• Work with companies to help them achieve Health and Safety Accreditations such as CHAS and Constructionline.
• Help companies set up or improve their health and safety or environmental management system including Health and Safety Policy and Arrangements, Risk Assessment and Method Statements etc.

·        Group Head of Safety, Health, Environmental (SHE) for a Group of companies with responsibility for advising company managing directors on all matters relating to safety, health and the environment, ensuring the continued  safe operation of the team within environmental boundaries.

·        Establishing all company Policy including the H&S, Environmental, & Sustainability Policy, and ensuring the focus is on sustainable development throughout all aspects of operations.

·        The development of strong relationships with both the client and site teams to work together to avoid any risk and help drive projects to a safe conclusion.

·        On a day to day basis implementing site SHE inspections and audits to ensure any hazards present have been highlighted and are actioned leading to Group compliance and best practice at all times.

·        CDM-C on numerous projects, ensuring sites and all parties involved in the project comply with CDM Regulations.

·        Implementation of the Group’s H&S, and Environmental Management System, and achieved ISO 9001 status in 2007 and OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 status in 2009, I worked tirelessly to ensure the systems matured to UKAS accredited standard.  Since then continual improvement has been achieved and now the systems are operating efficiently.
