Goodfield Consulting Ltd offer a full range of Health & Safety consultancy sevices.
A key part of our work is providing advice and support to small to medium sized organisation who do not have internal H&S expertise. This can be as little as telephone or email advice when required right through the assisting in the production of policies, procedures and risk assessment along with regular visits to ensure ongoning compliance.
With the recent changes in the CDM Regulations we now offer support services to the Client, Principle Designer and Principle Contractor to assist them in their additional responsibilities under the new regulations. As a previous CDM Co-ordinator Philippa has sucessfully undertaken the APS transfer exam to show an understanding of the new regulations and how they apply to the newly defined roles.
We also offer advice on training and can design bespoke training courses for your staff to ensure you deliver the relevant H&S message for your business.
Another of our popular services is assisting companies through tender processes or with membeship to accredited schemes such as Safe Contractor and CHAS

Initial meeting to discuss requirements - Free within 30 miles
Our prices are bespoke to the needs of the business and we offer a reduced rate for registered charities.
Audits
Audits are carried out against a standard template which can be amended to the needs of the business. This will include a review of documentation against best practices and a visual inspection of the workplace.
The business will recieve an audit report with clear recommendations for improvements.
General consultancy
Retained advisory services can be paid for monthly and will include telephone and email support as required.
This can also include regular site visit and inspections

Fire risk assessment for business premises in line with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
Report containing information on fire risks, fire controls and required improvements to reduce risk
Inspections of Common parts
Property risk assessments, inspections and audits can be carried out to establish the current level of risk and compliance along with assisting in identifying ways to improve compliance and reduce risk

Further Information
Philippa Goodfield is a Chartered Member of IOSH and was previously a Registered CDM Co-ordinator with the Association of Project Safety (APS). Following the changes in CDM in April 2015 Philippa has sucessfully undertaken the transfer exam with APS to demonstrate an understanding of the new regulations and now provides advisory services to the client, designer and contractors working under the new regulations however membership of APS is no longer maintained.
