OSHCR logo guidance for registered consultants
Using the OSHCR Registered Consultant logo
The Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register (OSHCR) logo is a valuable asset. It represents the OSHCR brand and demonstrates the quality and service that people expect from registered consultants. You can find additional guidance on how to use the OSHCR logo on our resources page.
- The use of the logo is only for those consultants who have been approved onto the register.
- A version of the logo with your unique register number can be accessed by logging in to your profile.
- The logo is for your exclusive use as a registered member of OSHCR. It reflects the qualifications and status you hold with your professional body.
- As it is unique to you, it can only be used alongside your name or business profile.
- We do not register organisations, so it’s important not to use the logo to represent a number of consultants within an organisation and OSHCR.
Examples of correct use
- Business card
- Biography
- Email signature
- Your personal profile on your organisation’s website
- Letter signature – but take care that it is only used in your personal sign off or alongside your name on the pre-printed letterhead
Examples of incorrect use
- Stretching, redesigning or distorting the logo
- Changing the colour of the logo
- Using the logo with another company name next to it
- Altering the ‘Registered Consultant’ text under the logo
- Using the logo on busy backgrounds, where there is not sufficient clear space around it
Logo exclusion zone
The OSHCR logo needs to be given plenty of room to breathe. If there are many other elements crowding it, impact is lost. The exclusion zone refers to the minimum amount of space we should have around the logo. However, it is worth remembering that this is just a minimum – the best thing is to give the logo as much space as possible.
