Tarpey Harris also specialises in the manufacture of wax pattern & ceramic core dies frequently used in the jet engine turbine manufacturing process. I manufactured high tolerance tooling (rigid, flexible & foam extrusion & injection moulding) to drawings utilising conventional & non-conventional machining technologies (i.e. spark & wire erosion). |
Crew Manager Fire & Rescues Services | 09.1991 - today | Responding to a pager (when at home) to emergencies within our community. Primary duties include leading safely in operational incident command, fire fighting, response vehicle driving, wearing breathing apparatus, water rescue & trauma life support. I attend regular training courses to maintain my competences & have also attended the UK’s National Fire Service College in Moreton-in the Marsh. As a Crew Manager I also have additional duties in running an operational fire station. Topics include, providing fire inspections/hazard spotting to businesses (compiling reports, statistics & providing best practice advice), Fire investigation, organising multi agency exercises & delivering fire service training packages. Also, having successfully completed the Certificate level IFE, I am currently in the process of attaining the IFE Diploma qualification with an intention to gain Graduate membership status. |
